Teacher cups

I made these teacher cups for my sister to give to my niece's teachers. I just love how they turned out, isn't it wonderful the things that can be done with vinyl?
I used Little Scraps of Heaven Designs cutting files, http://littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/
for both the flourish on the cups and the tag. I hope they like the cups, it's kind of hard to create for people you've never met.
This is my #sharehandmadekindness creation of the week.

Monkey bibs

Sewing has always been my main craft, not only a necessity but also a fun pastime, and there's nothing I love more that creating little projects for my family. Not that this is a little project, these were quite a bit of work, they took at least a week to make. I cut the monkey designs with my circuit Explore using sew able stabilizer.
I love doing projects like this, using ideas intended for paper crafting on different mediums.
I made these for my little nephew, his mom loves to dress him monkey themed.

Sharehandmadekindness card and gift.

Lately I've been fighting with a number of health issues, I created this card for the nurses that took care of me during my treatment.
Card uses LSHD http://littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/ cutting files, Prefect Prints papers, gemstones, and a shaker tag created with clear transparency, foam, a cutting file I picked up somewhere, gold cardstock and sequin hearts and glass beads,
I love doing these shaker cards but don't often find the opportunity to make them.
My mom and I also made these cute cupcakes as a thank you gift, I'm so thankful I have such a creative and willing mother.

Pirate Birthday cards

Today I've decided to create some pirate birthday cards for an ongoing challenge over at the Pretty Paper and Ribbons blog spot, here
For this card I used some distressed background paper that I created myself with inks, some stamps for the seaweed, and some PPPR cutting files, I added a few stickle dots for a bit of sparkle,
I'm not too sure if I'm all happy how this one turned out, here I embossed the background bottom part with a Fiskars template, inked it, and stamped the top part with some clouds and birds, I added some sequins at the bottom. The ship is also a PPPR cutting file,

Leaf layout

It's been ages since I've done a blog post, I've been pretty sick since June so it's been quite a challenge lately to get anything done.
These are layouts I've created for my DT posts over at Little Scraps of Heaven's design facebook page,
I entered this into the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine "It's a Sketchy Challenge".
I used some random papers from my stash, I really have no idea where alot of these come from, I buy papers I like all the time from dollar stores so not sure if they even have a brand,
I used die cuts for cutting files from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/
I use Recollections cardstock for my die-cut pieces cut on my Cricut Explore,
I embossed the leaves with a Fiskars texture plate for added effect, the title is a free font,
and the tag is from a Cricut Cartridge.
Journal stamp is from Autumn Leaves stampology line,
Bakers twine

Thinking of You card

Today I'm sharing a card I created using a Little Scraps of Heaven Designs sketch and cutting files, (Dove & My Paper Garden vol.2), If you've never checked out LSHD and have a cutting machine, be sure to, the files are super cute and so worth it, easy to assemble and can be used so many ways. There is also a super cute freebie each week, so don't miss out. http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/
I love how my card turned out, I created the background by stamping a white sheet with 2 different flower stamps in pink and gold, I then spayed it with purple and a mix of red and blue mist, Love how that turned out, I cut it in strips and sewed to my card, top panel is embossed with a Cuddlebug embossing folder,

I used the Current Stuck on U sketches sketch for my layout, Papers are DCWV, Prima, and some random ones from my stash, Cutting files use are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs....."Little Buggers" for the jar and flower stems...."Elements Collection" for the banners, large background flower mat....."Large Hearts Mat" downsized for my little circle mat...."My Paper Garden vol.2" for the daisys....and "3D Butterfly". Froggy Birthday card

Yesterday Tricia over at Little Scraps of Heaven offered us this super cute freebie, I was looking at it and wondered "when am I ever gonna use this cute silly little frog," but today I came up with this idea for a shaker card, It seems to take forever to get it right, it just didn't seem to want to look right no mater what I did, in the end I decided to just put it together and it'll be what it'll be, and off all things it actually turned out all right.
I used Kraft cardstock for my base, embossed it with a critters Fiskar's embossing plate, inked it with black, the bottom mat is a shimmery DCWV paper from the Birthday Stack, I used a die-cut ribbon slider for my sentiment box and cut some little dragonfly shadows from the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, "Little Buggers" file, and of course the frog is LSHDs "Silly Frog".

Easter Cards and new projects

I wanted to share a couple of Easter cards I created using Little Scraps of Heaven's Designs files, go here.
First one features a beautiful cutting file called "Lamb of God" I love this file, it had so many possibilities, I've made 2 different cards, both with the same file yet totally different,

Top one also uses a frame from a file called "Stitched frames" and the 2nd one features a frame from "Fancy Photo collection".
This one features a file called "Jelly Bean Bunny" "grass border" "Scalloped wave border" and the cross from "Lamb of God', I used this card to represent the deeper meaning of Easter yet still featuring a child's fantasy.
My last card is a Spring and Easter theme combined, I love this cute "Rain boots" file from LSHD, here I also used one of the frames from the "Stitched frames" set.

Double Trouble

Dropping by to share a layout of my adorable nephews using Little Scraps of Heaven Design files, "Double Trouble Boys", and "PC Train".
This is actually the 2nd half of a double page layout, I did the first awhile back, but haven't' gotten around to doing this one until now, I'm glad I finally took the time to do it, the collected papers and pictures have been moved from spot to spot in my craft room so many times that I was afraid of something happening to them. I used a LSHD sketch for both, this is just the most resent one. I love how it turned out.
Here's the first half of the layout, also using LSHD files..."Floppy bear" and "Lion"

Love bears all, wedding card

Sharing a card I created for my DT post over at Little Scraps of Heaven, Love their cutting files, this "Paper Garden vol.2" file is amazing, and the "Floppy Bears" are super cute, also used is the "note card" file.
For my card I used a DCWV remade card, however my card felt too heavy with the layered flowers so I cut the back of the card and mounted it on a heavier pink card, I use all Recollections papers for my piecing

, Love that brand, cuts so wonderfully, I added little gem stones in the flower centers and a cute little epoxy heart sticker between my bears, my sentiment box was created using the write feature on my Explore, love that machine, Isn't it amazing how tiny and detailed that machine will cut? These are the tiniest piecings I have ever done, and it wasn't fun gluing them together. lol
