Grandpa layout

I created this layout using Graphic 45 papers from the curtain calls collection, all the papers even the pieced establishments are created with Curtain calls papers except for the glitter white and gold used on the hearts and doves, other establishments are metal establishments, brad, ribbon, and bling flourishes.
This is the first time I've gotten the nerve to scarp my grandpa ever since we lost him 3 years ago, it's still hard to believe he's gone. My grandpa was a very special and amazing person, there was very little he couldn't do, make or create with his hands. His strong faith in the Lord has and always been an inspiration to all of us in the family. His passing left a huge hole that can never be filled.
I'm entering this layout in a sketch challenge over at Pagemaps here.

New Graduation projects.

My cousin graduated this year, so I created a special little gift for him and his classmate, for these little chinese takeout boxes I used a box cutting file from http://pennyduncancreations.blogspot.ca/, she has so many great files she now offers free. Such a wonderful lady.
The owl cutting file comes from http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/ it was a freebie they once offered. The diploma from the other box comes from http://www.kadoodlebugdesigns.com/category_18/1.00-Title-Patterns.htm. Paper is Me and My Big Ideas.  The chocolates are also handmade.

My sister and I took on the task of decorating, I decided to use an owl theme, Together we came up with this, using an owl file from http://www.misskatecuttables.com/index.php, the books are a cutting file from another site that I not sure is still out there, I think they were called Casey's Angels.  they offered their files as freebies. I kind of altered the file to my own liking, and added the words, the original file kind of just gives you an outline. The font we used comes from the Cricut cartridge Jasmine.
My mom made the cakes for the grad's using the same MissKateCutables owl image. I added the diploma from the KBD file.

I create this layout using a page maps sketch for a challenge over at the Page Maps blog, click here
I think this is the cleanest layout I've ever made, I pretty much kept the elements of the sketch, added a few of my own but pretty much kept it simple,
Background paper is from Autumn Leaves, cardstock from Recollections cardstock, stamps are Inkadadio baby inchies, and other papers and establishments are from my stash, I have no idea from where, the frame is die cut using the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge.

Father's day card

I created this card using a cutting file from the lovely Penny Duncan Creations blog. here When I saw this challenge for a Father's day card on http://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.ca/ I just had to try out this cutting file. Lately it seems that I've been crafting so much with cutting files that I'm neglecting my stamps, so for this project I also forced myself to use stamps, the bird is from Imaginace, the branch is from a Colorbok collection. I finished off my card with raffia, all cards layers and the card are cut using the cutting file from Penny's card files.

You Are My Sunshine layout

I created this layout of my little niece using various cutting files from different places.
The super cute clouds & raindrops as well as the cute bear are from http://www.ppbndesigns.com/
The Cloud with the sun and title are from http://designsoncloud9.com/
The journal block is from I Scrap Designs over at Visual design services. here

I used various papers from my stash, kind of keeping it with my pictures theme colors of grey and pink, I added a soft splash of blue for more color, I was going to keep it all pink and grey but somehow the blue work its self in. I used a number of different embossing folders on my die-cuts and papers. mostly the swirls by Cuddlebug. I embossed the bottom grey peice, sanded it and picked up the white with grey and pink ink.
I used glossy effects on my raindrops to bring more realism and used glimmer mist on my flourishes.
I'm going to be entering this into a contest over at Page Maps called Boy-girl challenge.

Rachel layout

My tiny niece Rachel is quite the handful, but it would be hard not to scrap pictures of the adorable happy little rascal, She loves being outside more than anything,
I created my layout with Cloud9 paper and colored cardstock, The smaller background is actually stamped with a homemade foam stamp, The tickets are from a set by Autumn Leaves, The tag is a Cricut die-cut, The humming bird die-cut is a cutting file from I Scrap Design here, if you have a cutting machine this is a worthy site to check out, Ileana's files are the best, even if they look complicated the fit and come together so easily, and they cut beautifully,
I created the title from some old die-cut letters which I layered a few times and applied glitter, the large R comes from a Cloud9 collection, The butterfly stickers are from my stash as is the twine, The layout is based on a Page Maps sketch, I love the cloths line picture line on the top of the design, I'm going to add 2 more pictures at the bottom.
I'm entering this layout in a Anything goes with ribbon and Twine layout over at a new blog I found http://www.craftindesertdivas.com/, and I'm also going to be sharing it over at the Visual design gallery here as a design team project, I've been a horrible DT member lately, I do hope Ileana over at I scrap Designs haven't given up on me.

Love Your this much layout

I created this layout for a challenge over at the Pagemaps blog here and for sharing over at Little Scraps of Heaven FB page.here
The Pagemaps challenge was to create a layout based on a sketch and use a mixture of printed papers, I love mixing printed papers and used quite a variety from my stash, (have no idea what brand any of them are other than pretty) I used a LSHD file they offered free if you created a project with it, hope they don't mind me being a little late, other products are cardstock, embossed with a variety of embossing folders, (title & hearts), stickles, EK Success label punch, scalloped scissor, EK Sucess border punch, corner heart punch, SVG cutting files Heart balloon cutting file found here, and the title I created in Silhouette Studio with a free font from somewhere.
Layout features 2 of my beautiful nieces, Aren't they the cutest?
