Pilgram card
I created a thanksgiving card for the Fantabulous Cricut challenge blog this week, the challenge was to use a pilgrim or Indian,
The cricut craft room had these cute thanksgiving images free last week and I couldn't resist cutting some of them. I cut the pilgrim from the set offered, "Thanksgiving 1" craft room exclusives,
The corn and pumpkin flourish are from the Thanksgiving cricut cartridge,
The frame is a svg cut from letteringdelights.com.

Fall card
Over at the FAntabulous Cricut Challenge blog they had a fall harvest challenge,
For my card I used the Thankgiving seasonal cartridge for the leaves and the Create a Critter2 for the bird.
I created my background with stamps and 3 different inks, This is unfortunately the second card I've created for this challenge, silly me forgot the leaf part of the challenge requirements and there was no way I could have added any to my first card, so this one really features leafs.

Red & Black Wedding card
Over on the Moxie Fab World Blog they had this Ready for Red Trigger challenge,

When I saw the picture I couldn't help not wanting to create a red and black wedding card, somehow the colors look so elegant together and I just couldn't help seeing a card with black swirls, embossed red panel with pearls, and black ribbon,
I added a ticket sentiment because nothing else seemed to fit, the die-cut wedding rings added the perfect finishing touch.
I created my red panel by embossing (scoring) diagonal lines on my scoreboard then adding tiny pearls with liquid pearls.

My entry for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog this week, using spots,
I searched through my scrap basket looking for all polka-dotted papers, and from the selection I found I happened to group these together and somehow a baby girl card was born, I used the Life's a Party" cartridge for my baby onsie, The card is a gate-fold with an overlapping middle panel,

Fantabulaus Cricut challenge blog entry
I found this cool new site where you can create challenges with your cricut and enter challenges, I finally found time to enter one, this week they asked to create a project with a farm animal, whats cuter than a party pig?
I used the Create a Critter 2 cartridge for this one, I thought this little piggie was the cutest, especially with her little dress and party hat. The balloons are also from the CC2 cart.

What's on my desk?
Over at the CuddleBug spot challenge blog they had an interesting
challenge this week, take a picture of what's on your desk, and create
with it. When I'm working on projects there are always tons of odd ends
and papers scattered all over my desk, I usually put them into neat
piles and containers and use them on cards, so for this challenge I
choose a few things the seemed to go together,
And this is what I came up with, not too sure how happy I am with the results,

Ship Card
I created this card for the challenge over at the Fabulous Cricut Challenge blog.
For my card I used the Pirate ship from the "Life's a Party" Cartridge, I created the background paper by staining it with coffee, crumbling it and inking the creases and torn edges, the scroll is created by just curling up the edges and gluing them in place, I added a mat, some brads and a little twine to finish off the card,

Little Monkey
I created this layout for the Child's Play challenge over at Red Carpet Studio
I really can't say where the paper comes from, I just selected them from my stash, I added chipboard accents, flowers a cricut cut monkey from "Life's a Party" cartridge. My title didn't stand off the paper as much as i liked so I made it pop by adding faux stitches with a white gel pen.

Happy Birthday Star
I created this card to enter a card sketch contest on the Page Maps blog,
I loved the look of the sketch and decided to keep the basic design, I changed the squares for circles, and added a prinked cut above and below the main mat, other than that the rest is pretty much the same, I used cuddebug cutouts for my circles and stars, the Happy Birthday banner I hand cut,
