Bunny Easter card

Over at the Red Carpet Studio they are  having a flowers on project challenge. http://redcarpetstudiochallenge.blogspot.ca/2013/03/rcs-29-secret-garden.html For this challenge I decided to make an Easter card, It's Easter and I still haven't made my cards yet, Yikes,

I used an adorable cutting file from Scrapping Bug Designs "Cute as a Bunny collection" files http://scrappingbugdesigns.com/ I also used a Cuddle bug cut tag, Michaels stamp, MS butterfly punch, bling,  ribbon and a variety of PP scraps.

Ladies party layout

I created this layout for LSHD http://littlescrapsofheavendt.blogspot.ca/ challenge this week, I used my cute new "My tune girls" file, but I left the head phones off, Those girls are the cutest. I used DCWV papers and some older Doodlebug paper. the mat and border are Cricut cut with the Elegant Edges cartridge.

Spring Robin card

Over at the LSHD blog http://littlescrapsofheavendt.blogspot.ca/ they're having a spring challenge, I choose to create a card with a cute robin, I used My Tim Holtz Sizzix Music folder for the background because I wanted to show that the bird is singing, Cuddlebug die-cuts, flowers and vines, the sentiment is a sticker from my stash.

Lucky Card

Over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog  http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.ca/search/label/Challenge%20Me%20Monday they had a "Something Irish on your Project" challenge, I couldn't find anything Irish on any of my Carts so I had to improvise, I used this cute caterpillar from Create a Critter1, gave his top hat a buckle and added some shamrock stickers. The Lucky U phrase is also from the CC1, The flourish is a Sizzix die-cut.

Green shades card

Over at the Red Carpet Studio http://redcarpetstudiochallenge.blogspot.ca/ they are having a card challenge using 2 shades of green, I used mostly green for my card,

The base of the card is cut using the Botanicals Cartridge. Other materials used are a Sentiment stamp, ribbon, Plus mini Roller, printed papers, ribbon border punch, Fiskars branch punch and Martha Steward bird punch.

Button layout

Over at the Red Carpet Studio they're having a "use a button" challenge, like usual I'm entering the contest the last day,
I created another page for my sisters wedding memory book, using lots of memorabilia, the flowers are actual decorations from the wedding, I also used an actual wedding reception program.

The background papers are odd ones I've collected over the years, but the base paper is from a K & Company collection, the stickers are also from the collection, the bling and buttons come from my stash, the journal stamps is an Autumn Leaves, and the little Precious Moments establishment I created from clip art that I collected and printed, My sister loves Precious Moments and I've been trying to add a little element to each of the pages.

You & Me layout

I found a new challenge over at the My Creative Time blog, http://www.creativetimeforme.com/
I'm a big fan of this blog, I love her work and her dies are just fab.
anyway the challenge was to use some memento on your project.
For my layout I used 3 mementos: the 2 little cards with poems and the necklace. The layout is an additon to the scrapbook i'm making my sister of her wedding, her hubby gave her those 2 little cards during the time they were going out, and the necklace I gave her once as a special sister gift, after her marriage she gave me these 3 items to fit into her album,

Other products used: Printed papers, cardstock, Cuddlebug dies-Hearts, Cricut cartridges-Sweethearts (You & Me phrase), Sentimentals cart (together forever phrase) & Life's a party cart (wedding rings).

Spotlighted!!!!

I was spotlighted over at the FCCB, http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.ca/2013/03/happy-first-sunday-of-march-today-we.html I'm so excited this is the first time ever!

This is a layout I made for my Nieces 1st year scrapbook, I keep meaning to post it, This is the first time I've scrapbooked about my daddy since he's been gone, I still can't believe he's not here anymore and it's been over a year.
I'm finally done with my little niece Christiana's scrapbook, this was the final page. Who could ever have dreamed when I started the book 3 years ago I would be scrapbooking such a page at the end?

Another layout I always wanted to share, I so love my "baby steps' cartridge.

Chocolate card

Over at the Cuddlebug spot  (http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.ca/) they are having a "chocolate as main focus" challenge, I love chocolate and couldn't help put a little extra effort into making my card extra chocolatey, lol

I printed the background from clipart, the chocolates (http://svgcuts.com/blog/) and the tag (Cricut-Sentimentals cartridge) are die-cuts. I used a wrapper from a candy bar for the shiny mats, and topped off my chocolate with glitter.

So Dear card

Over at Fantablous Cricut Challenge blog they had a "Pun" challenge, http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.ca/
I created a card using my super cute Create a Critter cartridge, both the deer and sentiment are from the cart, I stamped the top background and then embossed it with my swirls cuddlebug folder and then picking up the embossing with white ink to represent clouds. I used the grass cut from my old and trusty cutting edge scissor collection to cut along the edge of the oval's mat and the green middle strip. flowers are cuddlebug cutting dies. I finished it off with 2 gem stone bling.

Roo card.

I used a previous freebie file called "Love Roo", I love LSHD files they are always so cute and easy to assemble, other products include: printed papers, cuddlebug embossed stamp and bouquet, stamps and bling.

Florish wedding card

I created this card using one of Ileana's beautiful files from over at http://www.visualdesignsbychris.com/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=22 all her files are so pretty and cut so wonderfully, the file is called "bionically lily". I used 2 different cuddlebug folders to create my card, a border and swiss dots, a Autumn leaves stamp, ribbon and inks. I added some glitter to the flowers to give the card some sparkle.
