Some new projects

Just a few new cards and projects I want to share.
I created this layout for weekly challenge I entered on a facebook site called Creative Kuts. here
Each week they offer a free file to create a project with, this week it was a grad layout and card, the layout was perfect for me, for after 11 years I still haven't finished my grad album, unbelievable.
I used plain blue cardstock for my background, photo mat and border, I ran them trough my cuddlebug with my Tim Holtz distressed bricks folder, used white ink to bring out the embossing and to give it a more distressed look, I added another hat to place with my diploma at the bottom, the roses I made by stamping with black embossing powders and coloring in with markers, I love the way this turned out.
I couple of graduation cards. The first is part of the file from the layout above, I kind of goofed when assembling the card, I think the hat is supposed to be in front, but I kind of like it that way.
The next card is one I created for a crop over at the Fiskateers site, It was a very easy card to put together as I had already cut the card shape using my cricut and a cartridge, (Sentimentals) the banner is also a cutting file (My Scrap Chick) and the birdie comes from a Cricut cart as well (Create a Critter 2, I think)
background is created from wallpapers.

I created this card from leftovers from a couple of other projects, I was doing a layout using the hexagon trend and needed a guide, so I cut the hexagon lattice with my silhouette, I used the pieces to create my establishments with stamps and embossing powders, I had a few left over and they came in handy for a hexagon challenge, I just assembled the background, and added a bow and some stamped bees, the heart was a last added touch.

You & Me layout

Another layout completed for my sister's wedding album, This one I created for Little Scraps of  Heaven Scrap lift challenge this week. Click here
I lifted DT Trisha's beautiful layout

For my layout I used a beautiful cutting file from LSHD called "By the love tree". DCWV papers fro the background strips and mats, the PP is from my stash and the lace background, title, journal man and paper peicing are created from various colors cardstock.
I used metallic cooper ink to establish and distress, also I ran my mats and 2 narrow strips through my cuddlebug with a sizzix folder, then sanded the color off the top, and touched up with cooper ink. also used is a Fiskars heart squeeze punch and stamp.

Sea life tag

For this weeks Silhouette blog spot challenge I choose to create a tag, I didn't have the challenge shape so I used the weekly freebie, this cute whale and waves set, I cut it very tiny to fit my tag.
Also used are sea life shaped sequins, stamps, flourish die-cut, glitter, and fiber.

I created these little 3x3 critter cards for this weeks challenge over at My Creative Time blog spot. http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2013/05/designer-challenge-thursday-critter.html
I used my 3x3 card and envelope set from My Creative Time to cut the cards with my cuddlebug, cuddlebug zoo critters & stamp cutting dies, Tanner Bell stamps, and some of my home made Washi tape, also some yarn bows. I think these turned out real cute.

I actually used my silhouette to create the entire card, the card is also a Silhouette cut, the box frame  I created in the program and the sentiment is written with my sketch pen,

LSHD card sketch challenge

I created this card for a card challenge over at LSHD this week, http://littlescrapsofheavendt.blogspot.ca/
I used an adorable graduation file I picked up awhile back, they have the most beautiful files on the site, I used a number of different stamps to create my background, PP, and a Cricut cut star flourish.
