Bird with nest card

This weeks challenge over at the Cut it Up challenge blog was to use a new craft item to create a project. I used my new Sweethearts Cricut cartridge to to create this cute birds in a nest that I used on a card.

Valentine Pillow boxes

Over at the creative cutting challenge blog they had a  Valentine challenge not a card, alot of crafters made these beautiful pillow boxes, I just couldn't resist creating my own as well, I used the free pillow box cutting file offered over at Creative cutting files, and a heart and lock from a C9 designs. I can't remember where the candy heart comes from, I embossed my pillow boxes with a sizzix folder, and added ribbon and fiber as a finishing touch.

Banner card

I created this card for the first Cuddlebug Spot challenge of the year. The challenge required the use of triangles, what better reason to use a banner. I used my Swiss Dots Cuddlebug embossing folder to emboss my banner. I also added a Cuddlebug die-cut flower and leaf.

I scrap Design Christmas tree card

Card using a cutting file from I Scrap Designs. This file and many more equally beautiful ones can be purchased over at:  http://www.visualdesignsbychris.com/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=22 I love this file, it seems so difficut to assemble but is actually very easy, all the tree's details are actually a different shade, I used a number of shimmery cardstock for all the tiny shapes they shine through the trees top layer.

The card itself is cut from the Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge, The close up shows all the different colors showing through the top layer, Background PP is actually a downloaded Christmas paper that I printed, my Christmas paper stash is seriously lacking, and I was forced to print out my own, I added a sheer ribbon and some shaped bling to finish of my card.
