I found this cool new site where you can create challenges with your cricut and enter challenges, I finally found time to enter one, this week they asked to create a project with a farm animal, whats cuter than a party pig?
I used the Create a Critter 2 cartridge for this one, I thought this little piggie was the cutest, especially with her little dress and party hat. The balloons are also from the CC2 cart.

What's on my desk?
Over at the CuddleBug spot challenge blog they had an interesting
challenge this week, take a picture of what's on your desk, and create
with it. When I'm working on projects there are always tons of odd ends
and papers scattered all over my desk, I usually put them into neat
piles and containers and use them on cards, so for this challenge I
choose a few things the seemed to go together,
And this is what I came up with, not too sure how happy I am with the results,

Ship Card
I created this card for the challenge over at the Fabulous Cricut Challenge blog.
For my card I used the Pirate ship from the "Life's a Party" Cartridge, I created the background paper by staining it with coffee, crumbling it and inking the creases and torn edges, the scroll is created by just curling up the edges and gluing them in place, I added a mat, some brads and a little twine to finish off the card,

Little Monkey
I created this layout for the Child's Play challenge over at Red Carpet Studio
I really can't say where the paper comes from, I just selected them from my stash, I added chipboard accents, flowers a cricut cut monkey from "Life's a Party" cartridge. My title didn't stand off the paper as much as i liked so I made it pop by adding faux stitches with a white gel pen.
