My newest cards

I tried a few new techinques, for this one I stamped trees, die-cut flowers and created a scene.
I tried out my new stamps here, I stamped the background, cut it into squares and sewed the whole thing together.
Here I created stamped blocks, the paragraph is a digital stamp the they gave us over at MSW for a contest this month, I cut the flowers out of wallpaper and attached them 3D.

365/52 week 3 photos

This month I decided to do pictures of the great outdoors, here in friendly Manitoba were actually having a very pretty winter. The trees are often covered with snow or ice, it looks like a winter wonderland. Just wish I had my camera with me more often.

Project 365/52 week 2

Week 2 of project 52.
My niece Trina playing with her wooden beads, She's having so much fun playing with the container and spilling them, sticking them on her fingers, guess she hasn't grasped threading them yet.
She seems to have inherited Auntie Karen's love for beads, she just loves playing with them, it seems like you can't wear any jewelry or beads in front of her, she'll do anything in her over cuteness power to get hold of them, and then good luck trying to get them back. LOL.

My first attempt at creating a cutting file.

My silhouette has become my favorite scrapping toy of late, I haven't had it long, and was kind of unconvinced that I would ever master the drawing program included in the software, however last evening I decided to at least give it a try. I have to say that I'm kind of impressed with how my first attempt at creating a cutting file turned out, even if it is a little goofy looking. LOL
I used a clip-art picture of a Precious Moments frogie, somehow I convinced myself that this was an easy picture for trying my hand at this, but it turned out a lot more complicated than I anticipated. I did however learn quite a few pros and cons of the program in the process, made lots of mistakes that I had to redo, but I think I now know that I can do this. So hopefully there'll be a lot more to follow in the future.

Project 365/52

I decided to challenge myself with the 52/1/week photo project this year. I usally take lots of pictures of my nieces so that shouldnt be a problem.
This is week 1 for January, my entery for the contest over at MSW.

This is my youngest niece Christina, isn't she the cutest thing. She's 4 months old now, I can't believe how fast she's growing.
